Retro is the way to go when it comes to hair style in 2010. “Styles of 1940s and ’50s are the season’s fashion. Braids are back in fashion, but this time in the exceptional, yet beautiful, braided hair hats,” says hair specialist Samantha Kochhar.
Digital waves that give long hair an uncombed look will also be wll-liked, says Jehani. Kochhar confirms this, saying, “Edwardian style voluminous waves are again in fashion.” The wet look will take over for fashion wavy hair.
Pixie cuts and messy ponytails will also be in fashion this year. Says Dinaz Jehani of Shiseido, “Short hair with pixie cuts and spikes in front and slightly long hair with colored lines at the back will make a great style avowal. Straight hair will be popular with a heavy fringe on the forehead.”
Get rid of the long extensions; instead, sport the messy ponytails of the ’40s and ’50s. And in colors, stick to deep browns with bold streaks of fair-haired in asymmetrical weaving. Lots of colors like purple and deep blues in few streaks will be popular.
