The Bombay Times Fashion Week 2nd Edition Day-2 was held at The St. Regis Mumbai on June 14th,2019 The event saw some of the most iconic fashion designers and models from India, showcasing their latest creations. The event started with the designer Payal Singhal presenting her latest collection, which was inspired by the colors of a peacock. The collection featured beautiful pastel shades of blue, green and pink. The models wore ethereal garments with intricate embroidery which added the perfect touch of elegance to the collection. The next designer to take the stage was Anita Dongre, who showcased her collection ‘Grassroot’. The collection was inspired by the local crafts from India. The clothes featured vibrant colors like red, yellow and orange, which were paired with intricate embroidery and embellishments. The garments were made using handwoven fabrics like cotton and khadi, which were locally sourced from small towns of India.
The audience was then treated to the collection of designer Gauri & Nainika. Their collection featured glamorous silhouettes that were inspired by the modern woman. The clothes were made using luxurious fabrics like silk and velvet and featured intricate embroidery and embellishments. The last show of the evening was by designer Reynu Taandon. Her collection was inspired by the French Riviera and featured beautiful garments in bold colors like yellow and blue. The garments were made using light fabrics like chiffon and georgette, which added the perfect touch of sophistication to the collection. The event concluded with a grand finale, which featured models from all the designers. The models walked the ramp wearing the garments from their respective collections and the audience was in awe of the spectacular show.
