After the photos went viral, several Hindu organisations strongly objected to it.
kerala model Reshmi Nair recently visited the ancient Gadhpahra Fort in Sagar, Madhya Pradesh, where she held a photoshoot. However, her bold photoshoot at the historical fort has sparked outrage.
Reportedly, Rashmi’s photos become a talking point after senior journalist Rajneesh Jain shared about it on his Facebook account.
According to Jain, this photoshoot was done in the famous Gadphara fort complex in Sagar when Reshmi along with her husband visited there. He said that the couple was en route to Kashmir when they halted at Sagar. They visited the famous Gadphara fort. He said that even though Reshmi did not mention the exact location, the people of Sagar clearly made out that the photos were taken in the Sheeshmahal area of the fort which also has ancient temples of Lord Hanuman and Devi Angarh.
As per the Facebook post, these photos were sent to him by local youths in an attempt to validate Gadhpahra’s historical significance. The photographs depict the historical site and buildings of Sagar’s Gadhpahra Fort.
However, model Reshmi Nair did not mention the name of the location in her captions. She simply shared the photos with the caption “Somewhere in Madhya Pradesh!”
After the photos went viral, several Hindu organisations strongly objected to it. The Shiv Sena has handed over a complaint letter to the Additional SP of Madhya Pradesh in this regard. It has also appealed for the registration of a case against Reshmi.
Shiv Sena’s deputy state chief Pappu Tiwari said, “The incident is highly condemnable. It has hurt the sentiments of Sanatan lovers. Such incidents on the temple premises are never justified.”
The Shiv Sena said it would soon hold protests in Sagar district, including Bundelkhand if a case is not registered against Reshmi and her associates immediately.
For the unversed, this is not the first time Reshmi Nair has been embroiled in controversy. She was earlier involved in the “Kiss for Love” campaign controversy, and in 2019, she and her husband were arrested under the Pocso Act in connection with the alleged sexual harassment of minor girls in Bangalore during the same campaign.
