The style rocks & fashion rolls—return of denim jackets
August 9th, 2011The denim jackets are here once again. It’s after a break from the leather jackets in trend last season that denims come back in style. Thought this time 80s fashion is going to come back in a more stylized way. Earlier where denim jackets were worn in a more formal look, with jeans and fitted skirts for women.
Today it goes more casual.. Put on your jacket with rolled up sleeves for more funky look, you can even club it with a plain loose dress, shorts or wear it in shirt style. Torn effect is in vogue with a lot of washes on the jackets. Today even shrugs/ short coats are coming in denim, with a lot of light prints over them. They look so cute and summery.
We should also appreciate the designers for playing a vital role in booming the denim industry. Where denims were worn in slight cold weather earlier, today people are wearing it at any point of time, summer or winter does not make much difference. The fabric being used today is so refined that it does not make us feel hot. The prints over it and the styles available tempt us to wear it. After all whatever we say jackets always give a stylish look, if clubbed properly as the whole attire.

Men’s Heels … HUH
August 8th, 2011 Have you heard of men in lingerie? No, but actually if we research, it’s already been proven; there are men who would not mind wearing lingerie. Reading about it, I feel it’s time for me to make you guys aware about the world of men, where they enjoy slipping themselves in a pair of heels. The sensual, sexy shoes. As a point of fact it was men in the ancient times that started using heels and women followed the trend. Heels fashion evolved from men.
For men who love heels, wearing it is a natural progression. The feel which they get on wearing heels and walking in them on the street, for the night parties at friends place or for a fashion show, is quite intoxicating. It gives them an awesome feel. They enjoy it. Though some men have even been jealous of their better halves, as they can walk down the street at any point for time in heels whereas, men can keep their heels and walk in them inside the house / room only. Even though we can see times changing now, you can find a lot of men who are ready to face the world and wear what they like without bothering about others judgment. I feel that’s the spirit boys, come out of the shell. Live life to the fullest make your own statement, wear what you like, not what others wear. Be different. For long time heels has been the symbol of feminine sexuality. A pair of heels always represents a sexy female. The stuff and styles you get in heels today is amazing, so with such stunning collection in market for heels, it’s easy to understand why men also want one for them, selves.
The allure of high heels is raising, try it out…

Caesar Stovall – the military man in a skirt walks the ramp
August 3rd, 2011The military trains its personnel to do battle and so does fashion. The techniques and methods may differ, but the core precepts are the same. What you need is the look; industry will train you as a model. Caesar Stovall a 24-year-old Army medic from South Carolina who has served tours of duty in Iraq and Afghanistan is now walking the ramp for Givenchy seeing the complete different world without Humvees, car bombs or I.E.D.’s. The website for models inspired him and he came to New York for test shots with the photographer Joseph Bleu. He is 6-foot-3 and has virtually no body fat. His body showed the attitude what models need. Soon Mr. Stovall, found himself in the enviable position of being signed to a Givenchy exclusive by the label’s designer, Riccardo Tisci.
A military man turns to be a model is shocking news as rare cases happen.“I had no clue how big of a deal it was,” Mr. Stovall said. “Down where he came from, they don’t say Givenchy,” using its proper French pronunciation (zhee-vahn-shee), “they say Givenchy,” using the hard “g” of give and the hard “ch” of bench. If his luck holds, Mr. Stovall will not be redeployed and will be back in New York for the other shows. Still, he has another audience to consider: the men in his squad. “They tease him a lot about it,” Mr. Stovall said good-naturedly. “‘Oh, here comes a model. ‘But it won’t divert me. That’s another thing I learned from the Army: Stay true to yourself.” He wants to be proud of what he does.
