Marc Jacobs introduces latex pencil skirt
December 20th, 2011American fashion designer Marc Jacobs has brought the pencil skirt back into fashion by giving it a latex twist at his New York show.
Made out of latex, the pencil skirt has now got a complete makeover for fall. As a result, the old pencil skirt look is about to change and is sure to turn heads.
In creating the pencil skirts, the designer has used shades of jet black and scarlet red. He has also used some snakeskin and different textures to give a completely changed look.
Marc Jacobs has the distinction of transforming the French fashion house Louis Vuitton. He has been bestowed with the Chevalier of the French Legion of Honour for his designing inventiveness. He has also won nine awards from the Council of Fashion Designers of America, including the prestigious women’s wear Designer of the Year in 2010.

Designers collaborate with Debenhams at the fall fashion trunk show
December 16th, 2011Debenhams the famous retail brand now collaborates with famous designers. The brand now welcomes the Indian designers along with famous international beauty brands. This brand for the first time is hosting a fall trunk show as a welcome for the coloration on 16 and 17 dec at the Debenhams store in Ambience Mall, Gurgaon.
The designers involved are Manish Arora, Rajesh Pratap Singh, Gunjan & Rahul and Jatin Verma along with celebrated designers James Ferreira, Priyadarshini Rao, Gaurav Gupta, Nachiket Barve, Kiran Uttam Ghosh and Aneeth Arora among others.
The brand it going have it “all new look” with a mix of classy and contemporary collection for the customers. You can find ethnic as well as chic party range which ever you prefer by our designers at the same store. Not only this will the customers have the pleasure of consultation as well as a chance to look pretty on visit to the store as beauty specialist will always be available.
