Next Top model auditions on again for 2010 in Australia

The Foxtel search is on for Australia’s Next Top Model contestants for the sixth series of Fox8’s hit reality program.

Potential models should be at Enex100 in the Hay Street Mall on January 24 between 11am and 3pm.
All girls wanting to enter must be older than 16 and 172cm or taller and be ready to strut their stuff in front of the judges.

Hosted by Sarah Murdoch, the show follows the transformation of young women into potential supermodels as they are initiated into the high-stakes world of modelling.

This year’s series was the most successful to date and Perth winner Tahnee Atkinson has since been signed to Australia’s top model agency Priscillas as well as an exclusive deal with Harpers Bazaar.

Who better to cast their eye over the girls and scour the country for the next top model than Murdoch and judges Charlotte Dawson and Alex Perry who will appear at various locations around Australia.

Curvy Atkinson, 17 from North Fremantle who attended Presbyterian Ladies’ College went head-to-head with edgy Cassi Van Dungen, known as ‘the bogan’ in the final.

Van Dungen and Atkinson and the other Top Model contestants had to deal with tough challenges ranging from photo shoots in remote locations and weather conditions, castings for Fashion Week, facing the press at a mock media conference to meeting UK’s leading modelling agencies as well as supermodel Elle Macpherson.
