Lanvin Is H&M’s rumored next designer cooperation

Those diminutive teaser videos H&M just released to hype its next designer collaboration are not of Bottega Veneta’s Tomas Maier, but Lanvin’s Alber Elbaz, WWD reports. Sources tell the paper a collaboration with the ludicrously — and deservedly — fawned-over house will be announced very soon, presumably September 9, which is the date that flashes on the screen at the end of the videos.

Though the camera never lingers on the faces long sufficient for recognition in the clips, the voice-over of designer musings, while electronically changed, are obvious Elbaz-isms. Design is very important because it really brings dream to our life,” says one.

Obviously a Lanvin collaboration would be huge for H&M. Everyone loves Lanvin while nearly no one can afford it. This would be a cool one to line up to shop for — just believe of all the Upper East Side ladies in disguises standing next to you.
