Gwen Stefani’s Style is enthused by her Husband
Gwen Stefani’s funky style is not all her possess. Gwen has said that she finds motivation for her clothing line, L.A.M.B, from rocker husband Gavin Rossdale. Gavin gives Gwen ideas for clothing designs and influence her work during his personal style.
The musician-slash-designer has always been fanatical with fashion even before she was famous. Gwen has been known to build her own clothes and stage costumes, mostly when No Doubt was just starting out.
Gwen’s new collection for L.A.M.B. is full of clothing that Gwen herself would desire to wear. She says it’s really very selfish in that way. The collection will be full of modern ’80s clothing interpretations in impartial shades with splashes of color.
Like Gwen, we’ve been known to snag a few things from our boyfriends also. Sorry boys, seems like your closets are about to be raided!

BURTON TO OBTAIN OVER MCQUEEN’S FASHION’S HOUSE
Alexander McQueen (Picture) mourner A makeshift memorial grows at Alexander McQueen’s Manhattan store on the day the celebrated fashion designer was found dead at his London home, after supposedly taking his own life – just a week after his mother passed away.
ALEXANDER MCQUEEN’s womenswear adviser, SARAH BURTON, will replace the fashion icon as his namesake company’s creative director.
MCQueen devoted suicide in London in February (10).
Burton has been the designer’s associate for many years and served as head of design for womenswear at the fashion house up until MCQueen’s death.
In a statement she says she expects to “stay true to his (MCQueen) legacy“.

Ann Taylor’s Models Have absurd Proportions, Unrealistically Smooth Clothes
Ann Taylor has effectively turned itself from a staid, homely brand into a covetable one, even garnering comparisons in the Times to Dior and Balenciaga.
Recently, its sold-out $198 lace dress was selling for upwards of $300 on eBay, but all is not well in the brand’s online store, where models show to have been Photoshopped to scary proportions. Here we have a $119.99 dress on a girl with hips amazingly smaller than her shoulder span, maybe even her bust as well. Like Barbie!
At left, Ann Taylor helps the fashion model stave off muffin top by digitally sanding down her hips and thighs so as to avoid those realistic (heavens!) and scarcely unsightly fabric folds. Also incredibly smooth is the silk shirt on the right where it tucks into the model’s slacks, displaying no bunching or rippling.
So either Ann Taylor is the store with the unfeasibly smooth clothes — and isn’t that what our shapewear-obsessed culture is looking for? — Or they have a slight retouching scandal on their hands. On the other hand, in their quest to matter again, that they even have a scandal just more proves they do.
