  I started photography in high school as a hobby and it just progressed over the years. When I was told I couldn\'t surf anymore it was an outlet for me to get as close to surfing as I could. I get to live vicariously through surfers and also see it from a different perspective. There\'s a lot of similarities whether you\'re fighting for your right to ride waves or fighting for position to get the best shots. Surfers and surf photographers have to work close together for the best results all around.
